London Olympics torch is a new Briton Olympics torch production. The Olympics is originally Greek. The torch symbolizes the first historical Olympiads performed near the Olympus in Greece.

That was during the ancient Greek civilization through which the ancient Greek culture has been built.

The torch has a story. It also symbolizes the stolen fire, when Prometheus stole the fire from Zeus, as mentioned in Olympia here.

The FIRE in many literate understanding is knowledge. It symbolizes also many things including fact, purifying oneself, sacrifice, love and other sentimental singularities.
