Cuadra Bolivar is in one of Caracas beautiful sights in the south of the historic part of the old town of Caracas. It was the summerhouse of the family of Simon Bolivar and is now a museum that supports the main Museo Bolivariano, included in the museums of Caracas above.

Bolivar used to spend most of his time while he was young in this house. The Venezuelan authorities have restored the house to appear in its real shape and household classical furniture from that time in the 18th and the 19th century.

Museo Fundacion John Boulton is in Torre El Chorro, Piso (floor) 11 on Avenida Sur 3 and in the area between Avenida Universidad and Avenida Este 6 since the year 1950.

This is one of Caracas beautiful sights. It is considered a local business museum attributed to the family of the British merchant John Boulton.

The museum contains the artistic and historical collections of the family including ceramic ornaments and utensils from all over the world, Bolivar memorabilia, furniture from the colonial time and paintings by the Venezuelan artist Arturo Michelena.

The artist has a museum by his name in Esquina de Urapal 82, La Pastora in Caracas and an airport by his name in Valencia.

Torre Oeste occupies one of Caracas beautiful sights in Parque Central and rises up to 52 floors ending with the Mirador de la Torre Oeste.

The mirador is one of several miradors in Caracas that offer sightseeing and good views of the city from the top.

Visitors acquire the authorization from the CSB Division y Departamento de Seguridad at the basement of the building, before getting to the top of the building.

Museo del Teclado or the Museum of Keyboards Instruments is in one of Caracas beautiful sights in Parque Central adjacent to the Children's Museum and is opened in 1972.

This is a musical museum as it has musical instruments including classical and historical keyboards such as pianos and other musical instruments.

It is present in some musical programs broadcasts from Radio Nacional de Venezuela and the TV Channels and in many current festivals in Caracas.

Musicians and dance groups perform in the museum according to its programs. Coordinating with other cultural and art institutions, El Museo del Teclado offers dance workshops and musical courses in demand. Through the musical events and dances, visitors see the rich culture of Latino dances.

Galeria de Arte Nacional is on one of Caracas beautiful sights across the street at the east of Parque Central, above Avenida Bolivar and adjacent to Museo de Bellas Artes.

It is in the opposite direction of El Museo de Ciencias Naturales, occupying a neo-classical building since its foundation in 1974.

The gallery opened its doors for the public in May 1976. The Venezuelan architect Carlos Raul Villanueva designed this building in 1935 to appear in this neo-classical shape.

The Venezuelan sculptor Francisco Narvaez added sculptural touches to the entrance doors and there is a sculpture on the yard.

The National Arts Gallery has collections of artworks that cover five centuries of the arts history in Venezuela. In addition to these large collections, the gallery has collection of artworks including arts prior to the Hispanic art school in Venezuela.

Francisco Narvaez has an art museum in his birthplace in Porlamar; one of the largest cities in Isla Margarita in Nueva Esparta State at the north of Venezuela.

Carlos Raul Villanueva designed also parts of the University of Caracas and now the Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Universidad Central de Venezuela - UCV was first started in the Concejo Municipal de Caracas in 1725 and named at that time the Real y Pontificia Universidad de Caracas.

Bolivar gave it the present name and the university moved to its recent location on one of Caracas beautiful sights in the area of Sabana Grande about 2 kilometres at the east of Parque Central. However, Wikipedia mentions that it started in 1712 and the roots of the university go back to the 14th century.

Carlos Raul Villanueva designed the campus of the university during the 1950s, which is consider an architectural masterpiece of urban planning and included in the list of the UNESCO World Heritage sites.

It is the largest university in Venezuela, where more than 65,000 students study in different fields of knowledge. There are murals and sculptures in the buildings and on the ground of the university, as well as the Aula Magna, the concert hall with its 2,700 seats on the ground of the university, the large library and the sports complex at the east of the campus.

Universidad Central de Venezuela should be the first of Caracas beautiful sites to appear on this page because of the knowledge lights it reflects upon the country. There is much to write about this university.

Complejo Cultural Teresa Carreno or Teresa Carreno Cultural Complex is on one of Caracas beautiful sights at Avenida Paseo Colon across the street at the east of Parque Central.

The cultural centre performs modern art since 1983 and it has a main auditorium with 2,400 seats and a hall with 400 seats.

The performed arts of the Cultural Complex include concerts, recitals, theatrical plays, dances and ballets.
