The beautiful Antiparos Island or as called in the ancient times Oliaros is a short distance at the southwest of Paros Island.
Antiparos Strait / Amfigeio separates the two islands and there is seasonal heavy sea traffic in this strait in addition to windsurfing activities.
The island is smaller than the beautiful Paros Island. It is extension and important territorial part of it although the island enjoys somewhat a kind of independency.
It occupies 23 square kilometres west of Paros and there are 1,037 inhabitants in the island. It takes 30 minutes sailing to it from Paros Port and it takes 22 minutes from Pounta.
The Amfigeio is busy by sea traffic and windsurfing on some parts of it out of the port area. The Town of Antiparos is the main port where there are white buildings between the port and the heights on the back of the town.

Antiparos Travel Agency is on the waterfront and it provides all the information and the services needed to get accommodations, getting around and experiencing the Greek life in the island.
The diving club, Blue Island Divers is about 16.1 kilometres from Antiparos Village and it takes 31 minutes drive. It offers many diving services such as advanced diving, open watercourses and of course rescue courses, snorkelling, accommodation services and trips.
Travel services arrange daily cruise boat / round-boat tours from the small quay near Mantalena Hotel around the island to many beaches.
Camping Antiparos starts in the 70th and it is near the naturist beach, just at a short walking distance from the quay and the centre of Antiparos Town. See beautiful Antiparos beaches here. The area is rich by nature and the trees shade in hot summers, so campers could relax on good shades.
They use bamboo, cedars and canes in the camping area and the camping squares in the wide compound are partitioned by bamboo made blocks. Camping Antiparos offers camping services for people to enjoy the nature and engage in many group activities and camp's organized activities.
