See 100 Tongatapu Beautiful Sites to Visit!

You have 100 Tongatapu beautiful sites to visit, beautiful beaches to swim, surf and snorkel and beautiful resorts to enjoy some 100 beautiful Tongatapu sites.

The beautiful Hufangalupe Beach is one of 100 Tongatapu beautiful sites. It is above 'Ahononou Beach on the western coast, as you read in Tonga beautiful sites.

The beach is about 9.5 kilometres at the west of Fua'Amotu International Airport and it takes about 11 minutes. The Hufangalupe Natural Limestone Archway is near this beautiful site in Tongatapu.

Keleti Beach with Keleti Beach Resort and Tongan Wildlife Centre Bird Park is at the west of the beautiful Tongatapu Island. On the maps, the direction towards this part of the island is very difficult to determine whether it is the west or the south.

That is because the island has strange shape, with three long coastlines in the north, the east and the west, but not the south, which seems like a corner with the airport occupying the top part of it and with the coastline slightly runs west. The southern coast is somewhat short and the coastline continues slightly in a southwestern direction.

However, those Tongatapu beautiful sites are exactly south of Nuku'alofa. Keleti Beach Resort is on the south of Nuku'Alofa and northwest of the airport. It is about 10.7 kilometres from the capital city of Nuku'Alofa and is about 10.8 kilometres from Fua'amotu International Airport and it takes about 13 minutes.

Buses run from the capital city to Vaini and Mu'a through Taufa'ahau Road and travellers to Tongatapu beautiful sites in this area get down when this road meets Loto Road and walk about 2 kilometres to the south until Liku Road.

The Wildlife Centre Bird Park is one of 100 Tongatapu beautiful sites. It is at the west of Tongatapu, about 10.8 kilometres from Fua'Amotu International Airport and it takes about 13 minutes. The park works since 1990 to preserve indigenous Pacific bird species and immigrant bird species.

It collects and analyzes data, runs conservation activities and develops the people awareness and behaviours to protect those bird species. The park, which opens everyday for visitors, has many medicinal Tongan crops in its tropical garden.

Keleti Beach is clean, wide and there are reefs dividing it into many parts. The reef at the end blowholes that throw the water high up like a fountain when the waves hit them at high tide, making this area one of Tongatapu beautiful sites.

Keleti Beach Resort is on the cliff that overlooks the beach. There are twelve bungalows with single and double rooms, some of which take up to four people and private baths.

The Mapu'a 'a Vaca Blowholes, as called by Tongans or the "whistles of the chief" are on one of 100 Tongatapu beautiful sites. They stretch about 5 kilometres near Houma village. Houma is about 10 kilometres up from Keleti Beach, 14 kilometres southwest of Nuku'alofa and it takes about 18 minutes.

At high tide and a windy day, the Mapu'a 'a Vaca Blowholes covering the coral limestone are stunning, when they push the waters up on fountains that reach 30 meters high. People reach the blowholes by local buses from the capital Nuku’alofa.

The beautiful Halafuoleva Beach is about 1.4 kilometres up from Keleti Beach and it takes about 4 minutes. It is about 15.6 kilometres at the west of Fua'Amotu International Airport and it takes about 16 minutes.

The beautiful Ha'ateiho Beach is on one of the beautiful sites in Tonga about 20.2 kilometres at the northwest of Fua'Amotu International Airport and it takes about 19 minutes. Please correct this information through the form, if it was wrong and if those beaches are one beach by different names. Thanks.

Further up on the western coast are some of Tonga beautiful sites with some beaches. The beautiful Monotapu Beach is about 30.9 kilometres from Fua'amotu International Airport and it takes about 29 minutes.

On the western coast of the western band of the island, there are some of Tongatapu beautiful sites. The beautiful Kolovai Beach with the Good Samaritan Inn is about 35.8 kilometres from Fua'amotu International Airport and it takes about 33 minutes. Good Samaritan Inn is about 19.3 kilometres at the northwest of Nuku'alofa and it takes about 22 minutes.

The Good Samaritan Inn is exactly on the coast in Kolovai. It has shared accommodations, bungalows with single beds, double beds, private and shared baths, camping and a restaurant with a buffet and musical events. The family bungalows have private baths, kitchens and living areas. Music and dances perform on Fridays in one the most beautiful areas in the beautiful Tongatapu Islands.

The beautiful Ha'atafu Beach with the nearest sites such as Ha'atafu Beach Reserve, the First Communion Memorial Plaque and the Abel Tasman Landing Site is about 36.8 kilometres from Fua'amotu International Airport and it takes about 34 minutes.

Heilala Holiday Lodge is on the northern part Ha'atafu Beach, northwest of Kanokupolu and at the western end of Palm Avenue. It is about 20.9 kilometres at the northwest of Nuku'alofa and it takes about 23 minutes.

The Ha'atafu Beach Reserve occupies a shallow reef as well as deep water in some parts of this wide area. The side of the reef is good for snorkelling and surfing at high tide, while swimming out of the barrier reef is dangerous.

This area is one of 100 Tongatapu beautiful sites. It is accessible by buses from Nuku'alofa. The buses run to Hihifo, continue to the other villages in this area, and reach the beaches and the resorts. Ha'atafu is about 20.8 kilometres northwest of Nuku'alofa and it takes about 22 minutes drive.

There are some other accommodations here including the Paradise Shores Resort. Those resorts offer camping, snorkelling and surfing gears, kayaks, boats, fishing and out doors spas. They also offer free transport from the airport or the capital city.

Coral reefs protect most of the beaches on Tongatapu beautiful sites. However, people could swim, snorkel and surf on some of those beaches. There are two questions here.

Do you think that beaches protected by coral reefs are not good for swimming?

Which of Tongatapu beaches are good for swimming, surfing and snorkelling?
