The White Beaches are near Akrotiri. You can reach on foot from there or by boats from other beaches. They are under white coloured cliffs and rocks. The sands and pebbles are white. The water is clear.

Aspri Ammos or the white beach is at the west near Kokkini Ammos and you can walk to it from there. The cliffs are white. You can reach it on foot or by boats.

Red Beaches:

Although there is black sand and blue water, the red cliffs reflect their colours on the water and that was enough for the people to call them the Red Beaches. The Red Beaches are near Akrotiri.

Kokkini Ammos Beach is near Akrotiri and you can reach it either by car or on foot.

Vlihada or Vlyhada Beach is at the south coast, near ancient Akrotiri. The beach is 13 kilometres from Fira. It has yellow volcanic cliffs and dark sands. The water and the wind curved some caves, sculpture and sharp edges in the area. It is not ideal for conservative because they may see nude people there.

Black Beaches:

Beautiful Agios Georgios Beach is at the south and is only a walking distance from Perivolos. You can reach it also from Perissa and Emporeio by car or motorcycle.

Beautiful Perissa Beach in Perissa Village near Pyrgos village is a 7 kilometres long beach. Since the sand and pebbles are black, so the sun is burning on the beach. Some people love it because of the crystal clear deep water and black sands and pebbles and taverns and cafes along the beach.
