Some of the beautiful towns in Ionia here are very close to each other and very near to the eastern and southeastern coast.

The most populated villages are Nineta, Kallimassia, Tholopotamio and Katarraktis.

Beautiful Kallimassia Village, Kallimasia or Kalimasiá, Hellas - the seat of the municipality has 930 inhabitants. It is west of Aghios Minas and is about 10.3 kilometres southwest of Chios Town and it takes about 16 minutes drive.

Beautiful Sklavia Village the first town to reach in the north of Ionia when coming from Chios Town is about 11.5 kilometres away from Chios and it takes about 17 minutes drive. Next to it at the south is Tholopotamio.

Beautiful Tholopotamio Village has 761 inhabitants. It is at the south of Sklavia is about 12.8 kilometres from Chios Town and it takes about 17 minutes drive. At the east of it is Kallimassia, the seat of the Municipality of Ionia and south of it are the rest of the villages in Ionia Municipality.

Beautiful Myrmigio Village at the south of Tholopotamio is about 12.6 kilometres away from Chios Town and it takes about 17 minutes drive. Next to it at the south is Exo Didyma.

Paralia Aghias Fotinis east of Myrmigio on the eastern coast is about 10.3 kilometres from Chios Town and it takes about 17 minutes drive.

Moni Aghias Matronis Chalandron at the southeast of Myrmigio and very near to Messa Didyma is about 13.3 kilometres from Chios Town and it takes about 20 minutes drive. East of it is Agios Aimilianos.

Agios Aimilianos or Agios Emilianos is about 11.9 kilometres far from Chios Town and it takes about 19 minutes drive.

Exo Didyma at the south of Messa Didyma is about 15 kilometres south of Chios Town and it takes about 21 minutes drive.

Messa Didyma at the north of Exo Didyma is about 14.2 kilometres from Chios Town and it takes about 20 minutes drive. East of it is Katarraktis.

Beautiful Katarraktis Village has 425 inhabitants. It is at the eastern coast, south of Kallimassia is about 13.8 kilometres from Chios Town and it takes about 20 minutes drive. The rest of the villages in Ionia at the south are very near.

Pagida at the south of Exo Didyma is about 16.9 kilometres south of Chios Town and it takes about 23 minutes drive. Next to it at the south is Vouno.

Kini near Pagida at the southwest is about 17.7 kilometres far from Chios Town and it takes about 25 minutes drive. Southeast to it is Vouno.

Flatsia at the middle between Patrika at the west and Nenita at east is about 18.8 kilometres from Chios Town and it takes about 26 minutes drive.

Beautiful Nenita Village is a big town in the Municipality of Ionia with 1,038 inhabitants. It is near the eastern coast, at the east of Patrika and very near to it. It is about 17.3 kilometres far from Chios Town and it takes about 24 minutes drive.

Beautiful Ionia Village at the eastern coast south of Nenita is about 21.6 kilometres from the capital of Chios Island and it takes about 31 minutes drive. Southwest of it is the last village in Ionia, Lilikas.

Gridia on a tip of land that goes on water at southeastern coast is about 22 kilometres from Chios Town and it takes about 33 minutes drive.
