Google places evolve to bring huge traffic volumes to many treasury sources on the internet. In the surface, that does not mean anything to people with average knowledge of this industry. However, to businesses that lays the infrastructure of economical growth in the long run.

This traffic seems running essentially for the favour of the travel companies and the industry of tourism. However, beyond this scope many other local businesses have more chances to flourish through the internet while using Google places to identify and locate their businesses.

Their inputs in turn enrich Google maps and make it useful for surfers and all of that bring more credibility and values to Google search, the primary job the company has been doing before all of the other added functionalities.
